Granite State Armory specializes in repairing, modifying, designing, and building custom firearms from raw materials and shelf parts. Associates have 50 years of combined experience engineering, designing, developing and manufacturing custom products for private and government sectors. Associate experience includes designing, manufacturing and installing custom equipment for the first transatlantic fiber optic cable in 1988. Designing, manufacturing and installing equipment on 14 undersea cable-laying ships to include the US Navy. Managing and operating a 4,000+ sq. ft. machine shop. Performing secondary operations on 3D woven carbon fiber aircraft landing struts and engine turbine blades. Contract machining for fiber optic connectors used in towed-array sonar systems on U.S. Navy Submarines. Custom firearm work for law enforcement, competition target shooters, outdoor sportsman, and collectors. Associate education includes a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Career Diploma in Gunsmithing and certifications in Machine Shop Theory, Machinist Practical Applications, Law Enforcement Armorer and Practical Gunsmithing.

Our capabilities include manual and CNC milling, turning and plasma cutting, 3D printing, and laser engraving. Mechanical metal finishing by surface grinding, lapping, polishing, wire brushing, bead blasting and sand blasting. Chemical metal finishing to include black oxide, Belgium bluing, slow rust bluing, Nitre bluing, and cold bluing
